Online reputation management for famous YouTuberPewDiePie took a hit earlier this week when big Internet powerhouses like Google and YouTube cut ties with him. The man behind the famous YouTube sensation, Felix Kjellberg earned an estimated $15 million last year. Kjellberg had a business deal with Disney up until earlier this week when the YouTube sensation was linked to several anti-semitic posts and comments. Until this week, he had a total of nine videos that included racist comments and bits featured in them up on his YouTube channel. Kjellberg was also linked to the act of three men standing outside holding “Death To All Jews” posters. Apparently, Kjellberg paid those individuals as a “joke” and admits that it went too far. He was also responsible for hiring a man to dress up as Jesus and chant that “Hitler did nothing wrong”. For these reasons and more, PewDiePie’s deal with Disney has been annulled and Disney has cut all its ties with Kjellberg. His reputation management is something to make an example of as it has failed miserably this past week.
